My Role & Implementation:

As the lead developer for Flight Sansar, I was responsible for both frontend and backend development. I designed and implemented a user-friendly interface, developed secure payment gateways, and integrated real-time flight booking functionalities. My role also involved optimizing the platform for performance and scalability to handle high traffic volumes and ensure a seamless user experience.

Technologies Used:

The platform was developed using Laravel and PHP for robust backend functionality, Vue.js and JavaScript for dynamic and responsive frontend features, and jQuery for enhanced user interactions. I utilized MySQL for database management, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. Additionally, I integrated REST and SOAP APIs to connect with various Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, Air Arabia Singapore, and Jazeera, enabling real-time flight data retrieval and booking capabilities.

Outcomes & Key Contributions:

I successfully delivered a scalable and secure flight booking platform that supports a wide range of airlines and destinations. The platform's intuitive design and seamless user experience have contributed to increased customer satisfaction and bookings. This project showcases my ability to develop comprehensive travel solutions tailored to the needs of the Nepali market, integrating complex APIs and ensuring high performance and reliability.
